Muslim and Jewish Paramedics Pray Together amid COVID-19
“Avraham Mintz, a Jewish man from Beersheba, wrapped himself in his prayer shawl and turned north towards Jerusalem.
Zoher Abu Jama, an Arabic man from nearby Rahat, unfolded his prayer rug and knelt facing south towards Mecca.
‘This is a disease that doesn’t tell the difference between anybody, any religion, any gender,’ said Abu Jama. ‘But you put that aside. We work together; we live together. This is our life.’”
